We are looking for one of our partners - a worldwide company leader in the technology business for experienced and motivated candidates for the position. The position will give you the opportunity to work with the newest technologies as soon as they appear on the market.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day management of the Web, SQL and Backup Infrastructures
• Managing tape rotation
• Monitoring and proactive remediation of the networking and communication infrastructure
• Daily monitoring the server farm with tools provided, dealing with alerts and calls
• Diagnosing problems by investigation, using all available tools
• Providing support, training and mentoring to other members of the support team

You would be proficient and well experienced in:
• Perfect command of English language
• Ability to provide out of hours remote support via ADSL connection (overtime)
• Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003, 2008 Server + Active Directory Experience
• Backup systems and software e.g. Symantec Net Backup
• Advanced network configuration and troubleshooting skills
• Advanced knowledge of TCP / IP and DNS
• General Storage Area Network (SAN) Knowledge

Any IT Professional qualifications will be of benefit:

• Microsoft MCTS: SQL Server 2005 (70-431)
• Microsoft MCSA or MCSE
• Qualification in Microsoft Network Load Balancing
• Qualification in one of the following: HP EVA, EMC Clarion or Cisco Networking
• General Microsoft Applications knowledge
• General Cisco configuration and troubleshooting knowledge
• General Storage Area Network (SAN) Knowledge
• Be familiar with the ITIL based ITSM model including Incident, Problem and Change Management
